Ahsan is a Data Executive in Hg’s Portfolio team. In his role, he helps portfolio companies tackle their most pressing value creation challenges across Data and AI: from setting up data pipelines and automated reporting, to developing data-driven solutions and leveraging Machine Learning/Generative AI for product development, operational and sales processes.
Prior to Hg, Ahsan was advising clients on Strategy, Data and AI, as a Lead Data Scientist at McKinsey in London, where he worked with clients in Finance, Energy and Pharma. Before McKinsey, he was an Analytics consultant in Cologne, Germany, focusing on mid-sized and family-run businesses.
Ahsan completed a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and a MEng in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford
